The Experimental Farm is the home of the Classical Ballet dancing emus the Milk Chickens and Emu Dairy. We are a first responder to genetic diversity and are energetically pursuing new exciting products for consumers of both artistic and agricultural experiences .

We also have accumulated a large number of old farm wells which we have subdivided and are selling in convienient post hole sizes for those who are reluctant to dig their own. We deliver! Prices start at $1.50 for holes sized at 6 inches in diameter and 2 feet deep for the home owner. These are great for those hard dry soils, heavily compacted and hard to dig. Larger sizes are available, inquire for prices.

You may not be familier with thoroughbred racing goats, but ours are well respected in the goat racing community. Here in Boiling Springs, South Carolina we say,"If they don't win place or show, it's into the pot they go!" We have maintained the finest and the fastest that way.
And no one who has been terminally lonely will ever forget our inflatable plastic sheep. They are outstanding in our field; love Ewes, you got to luv'em. These sweeties are so popular, they are flying out of our pasture. A farm boy's dream, and a few older feller's too.
You have probably seen our fresh products in your grocery stores. We are the proud suppliers of the raw material for Cambells Soup, Cream of Chicken products, that's right, whole chicken milk from contented milk chickens here on the Experimental Farm. We spent years training 'em to stand on the edge of the bucket. It's a lot easier to milk them that way.

We were founded here at this location in 1970, but our heritage goes back to Thomas Jefferson who advocated establishing experimental farms in America as a way to compete with the European industrial economy. We are now struggling for our economic vitality against the new Euro, so nothing much changes does it?

Our founder, the experimental farmer is a one of a kind artist and animal husband, a true renaissance man, who is as excited about science, as about spirituality and letters. A naturalist and pursuer of enlightenment, he knows nothing.
